Introduction
Inspire Learning has been created to work with parents and schools to give the opportunity for children to be given additional teaching and learning regardless of their ability. Whether your child is described as  ‘Gifted & Talented’ ,’average’ or ‘falling behind his/her peers’ – every child deserves the best that we can give and be seen as an individual. Families all have their own hopes and aspirations for their children and we aim to work together so that your hopes and aspirations can be realised.
The beauty of what we offer is that your child’s learning is central to all that we do. We have the flexibility and freedom to teach perfectly to your child’s learning style. This will involve using the best teaching and learning techniques – both old and new!! This is essential and will mean that there are times when the children use laptops & Ipads , and others when repetition and rehearsal is still essential.
We strongly believe that in this country we have the most amazing teaching and learning techniques in the world. Our children are all different, our families and lives are different therefore it is essential that the learning is built around your child and their lives in the 21st Century.
Your child will then attend the centre on a weekly basis to be taught (not tutored or guided) for 1 hour in a modern, welcoming and safe environment in the centre of Ramsbottom using resources suitable for First Class Education which is second to none!
Your child will receive some direct teaching in small groups and will be given individual learning activities perfectly suited to them and their learning style. From our experience the benefits of teaching in this way are immense. Our major aim is not solely that your child succeeds whilst working at the centre but that this success can be seen when working in school.
Children of this age benefit greatly from learning in this way:-
  • It develops vital thinking and listening skills that need to be instilled so that all learning in the many years ahead is successful.
  • Over reliance on 1-1 tutoring can cause children greater problems. It can be seen as a short-term fix that is quite often not supported by teachers because the styles do not seek to work together.
  • The enthusiasm, excitement and atmosphere that is created can be quite magical, less pressurised and extremely effective. Our aim is that children develop skills for life and ‘learn to learn’ so that they make incredible progress whilst with us but go on to even greater success in the future because of the skills and the love of learning that they have developed!
Whether your child is Gifted and Talented or falling behind, there is an opportunity to be one step ahead!
